Balance training

Participants will don a safety harness that is secured to an overhead track. Each balance training session will involve 45 minutes of visual feedback balance training (VFBT) (Figure 1) followed by 45 minutes of reactive balance training (RBT), totaling 90 minutes. This combination will ensure all systems of postural control are targeted by the training, and that both standing and stepping are practiced. For both groups, FES and tSCS will be set up, including placing electrodes and setting stimulation amplitudes.
