Aerobic exercise

Participants will undergo an aerobic exercise training program on a motorized treadmill at an intensity corresponding to 60-70% of their heart rate reserve (calculated by adding baseline heart rate to 60-70% of reserve heart rate). The program will last 16 weeks and will consist of three 1-hour, 10-minute sessions per week, divided into four phases: a 5-minute warm-up at an intensity below the target exercise heart rate (baseline + 30-40% of the reserve heart rate); a 50-minute main exercise session at the target exercise heart rate intensity; a 5-minute cool-down at an intensity below the target exercise heart rate; and a 10-minute relaxation and general stretching phase. This structured exercise protocol was designed to evaluate the effects of aerobic exercise on sensory perception, musculoskeletal alterations, and psychosocial factors in patients with migraine.
