Ropivacaine vs Lidocaine in the Endotracheal Tube Cuff on Post-Operative Sore Throat

Ropivacaine 0.5% will used to inflate the endotracheal tube cuff using the stethoscope guided inflation technique described by Kumar and Hirsch (2). The anesthesiologist will documented the volume in millilitres instilled into the cuff to create a seal. Once a seal was created the anesthesiologist will documented the ETT cuff pressure.
