Denervation of the thumb CMC joint

Removal/disconnection of the nerve branches to the joint from their attachments to the joint

PROCEDURE

trapeziectomy with ligament reconstruction (LRTI)

excision of the trapezium and suspension of the thumb metacarpal with the flexor carpi radialis tendon
