He then went on to spend the next ten years developing next-generation sequencing technologies, spanning multiple product launches and large-scale sequencing initiatives.KirkBoard AdvisorKirk spent over a decade at Illumina as VP/SVP during the DNA sequencing boom, and oversaw markets with >$1B in annual revenue. He's also been a key part of companies like Verogen (acquired by Qiagen), iGenomX (acquired by Twist), NanoString, and Tagomics. She moved to Cambridge to continue her postdoctoral career, developing next-generation sequencing technologies for single-cell immune profiling and antibody discovery campaigns.CorinneSenior ScientistCorinne trained as a molecular biologist and completed her PhD studying fungicide resistance mechanisms in 2018 at the John Innes Centre. She continued into a postdoctoral position focussed on unpicking the mode of action of a new group of antimicrobials.AldoSenior ScientistAldo obtained a Master's Degree in Biotechnology from Columbia University, focusing in molecular biology and genomics. She previously worked in the Genetics lab in Addenbrookes, working on the diagnosis and monitoring of blood cancers and organ transplants, and before that, spent some time in the forensics sector.AlexSenior Software EngineerAlex trained as an astrophysicist and has a PhD, but discovered software was the career for him.
